Roof Installation

Need someone to take a real look at your roof?

If your roof is leaking, missing shingles, showing storm wear, or just getting old, Atlas can come out, look it over, and tell you what we see.

You do not need to know all the roofing terms. We will explain what needs to be done, what can wait, and what the job would look like before anything is scheduled.

How We Look At It

We start with the problems you can see and the problems you may not see yet.

Some roof problems are easy to spot, like missing shingles or stains on the ceiling. Others only show up when the old roof is removed and the wood underneath is exposed.

If we find something that affects the job, we explain it before covering it back up. You should not be surprised by roofing terms or vague add-ons after the work starts.

  • Missing or worn shingles
  • Leaks near walls, pipes, or chimneys
  • Soft wood under old shingles
  • Storm or wind damage
  • Old roof layers
  • Areas where water may be getting in

What To Expect

A good roof job is planned before the first shingle comes off.

Before work starts

We go over driveway access, material placement, and what should be moved away from the house.

During tear-off

The old shingles come off so the crew can see the wood underneath and handle bad spots before the new roof goes on.

Before we leave

Debris is picked up, magnets are used around the yard and driveway, and the work area is checked.

The Basic Order

Here is the simple version of how a roof job usually goes.

1

We look at the roof

We check the visible problem areas and talk with you about leaks, age, storm damage, and timing.

2

You get the estimate

The estimate should make sense in plain language. You should know what is included before saying yes.

3

The old roof comes off

Once the old shingles are removed, the crew can see the wood underneath and deal with any bad spots.

4

The new roof goes on

The crew installs the new roof, checks the finish work, cleans the property, and picks up loose nails before leaving.
